Last year someone said N—- Ehhh, I can’t say that name. I don’t want to end up like a scientist who have invent something government really want it in a movie I watch before.
OK, That agency spying our Email, Facebook, etc. I know I never plan to do a bad thing or trying to make something danger, but I need my secret still ABSOLUTELY SECRET. Sometime I send what I keep secret – example is my grade with Email, but how can I sure that it’s secret?
I want to encrypt that (encrypt – turn it into a code) but a person who get my Email must know what is the code meaning, that’s problem.
Now, problem solved, anti-nosing Email by CERN’s geek!! ProtonMail.
ProtonMail is end-to-end encrypted Email, based in Switzerland. I don’t know why they named it “ProtonMail” but that’s make us feel positive because proton charge is positive.
ProtonMail was founded in summer 2013 at CERN by scientists who were drawn together by a shared vision of a more secure and private Internet. ProtonMail is developed both at CERN and MIT and is headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland.
Why Switzerland? Because CERN’s geek invent it?
The answer is NO. even you host your server on a boat in international waters, you will need to be under some legal jurisdiction and All user data is protected by the Swiss Federal Data Protection Act (DPA) and the Swiss Federal Data Protection Ordinance (DPO) which offers some of the strongest privacy protection in the world. Only a court order from the Cantonal Court of Geneva or the Swiss Federal Supreme Court can compel us to release the extremely limited user information. This mean the organization N—– can’t access to our data!
Another thing I really like is self-destructing Email, you can set a time for destroy it. When the Email is expired, it will be disappear from receiver inbox
Now, ProtonMail server is full so they can’t add any user. We have to booking for our username, when they have enough space you will get your ProtonMail account!
